Der BMW E90 M3 ist eine fünfsitzige viertürige Limousine, die von 2008 bis 2012 in München, Deutschland, produziert wurde. Dieser kompakte Executive-Wagen fährt mit einem saugbetriebenen DOHC-32-Ventil-8,8-Liter-V8-Benzinmotor, der 420 PS Leistung bei 8.300 U/min liefert. Das serienmäßige Mehrpunkt-Indirekteinspritzungs-Kraftstoffsystem ist elektronisch auf eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 250 km/h (156 mph) begrenzt und beschleunigt in 4 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h. Der BMW E90 M3 hat ein 6-Gang-Schaltgetriebe in einem Frontmotor-Hinterradantrieb-Layout. Er kommt ab Werk mit elektrischer Lenkung, einer Schraubenfeder-Vorderradaufhängung und einer Schraubenfeder hinten.
Das Preisschild des BMW E90 M3 von 56.500 Dollar liegt über anderen beliebten Limousinen-Fahrzeugen. Das gesamte Luxus/Leistungs-Paket ist es wert, mit einem Gewicht von etwa 1.606 kg (3.540 lb) und einer Kraftstoffeffizienz von 13,7-12,8 l/100 km. Der Standard-Radsatz des E90 M3 kommt mit Michelin Pilot Super Sport 245/40 R18 vorne und 265/40 R18 hinten. Ein belüftetes Scheibenbremssystem deckt beide Achsen mit einem ABS-Assistenzsystem ab.
