Der BMW E46 M3 ist ein fünfsitziges, zweitüriges Coupé, das von 2001 bis 2006 im BMW-Werk Regensburg, Deutschland, montiert wurde. Dieser Hinterradantrieb-Roadster wird serienmäßig mit einem 6-Gang-Schaltgetriebe, einer Dreieckslenker-Vorderradaufhängung und einer Schraubenfedern-Hinterradaufhängung geliefert. Dieses Coupé erhält seine Leistung von einem saugbetriebenen 3,2-Liter-24V-6-Zylinder-Reihenmotor (343 PS) mit Mehrpunkt-Indirekteinspritzung. Der E46 M3 kann in 5,2 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h beschleunigen, mit einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 250 km/h (156 mph). In einigen Szenarien hat der E46 beeindruckende 286 km/h erreicht und sich damit bei vielen Enthusiasten den Ruf als "schnellster BMW" verdient.
Der BMW E46 M3 ist nicht nur ein schnelles Auto für Rennstrecken, sondern auch eine gut ausgestattete Tourenmaschine mit M-Doppelspeichen-Rädern, 225/45 R18-Reifen vorne und 255/40 R18 hinten. Das luxuriöse Interieur bietet allen Komfort, den Fahrer für lange Fahrten hinter dem Lenkrad benötigen. Das Bremssystem verwendet belüftete Scheibenbremsen an allen vier Rädern, mit ABS-Überwachung des gesamten Systems. Mit einem aktuellen Wiederverkaufswert von etwa 17.500 Dollar steht der BMW E46 M3 im unteren Bereich des Hochleistungs-Sportwagen-Spektrums, aber unterschätzen Sie nicht die Fähigkeiten dieses deutschen Juwels.
