The Mini Cooper R56 JCW is a two-door/front-wheel-drive hot hatch designed by Frank Stephenson and produced by the BMW Motosports, the brand's new owners, in factories located in the UK and the Netherlands, from 2008 to 2014. This all-time classic compact runs with a JCW 1.6L twin-scroll turbocharged engine delivering 211 PS of power at 6000 Rpm and 261 Nm of torque, coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. With a 7.1L/100 Km fuel consumption and a 2657 Lbs weight, this car goes from 0-62 MPH in 6.5 seconds with a maximum registered speed of 148 MPH. An optional upgrade John Cooper Works package features Recaro seats, a Sparco racing steering wheel, and a fully electronic fire extinguishing system. All these enhancements make this version a much-improved model of the Mini.
Today, the Mini Cooper R56 JCW comes at a $23,000 market value, a complete bargain for such a complete all-arounder. It comes out of stock with Bridgestone RE11 205/45/R17 84W RSC tires on the front and rear axle, supported by Independent McPherson struts, coil springs, anti-roll bar suspension, and Ventilated discs with an anti-lock brake system. Overall, the Mini offers a good driving adventure with authentic dependability and affordability to keep up with today's racing standards without breaking the bank.
