Porsche Ring - Audru Ring Notes

Porsche Ring, also known as Audru Ring, is Estonia's premier motorsport facility, located near Pärnu in Audru Parish. Its history traces back to 1990 when the initial karting track was established. Over the years, the facility has undergone extensive development, culminating in the modern circuit that opened in its current configuration in 2012. The circuit was renamed Porsche Ring in 2021 as part of a partnership agreement.

The circuit boasts a challenging and flowing layout, designed to FIA Grade 4 standards. It is 3.2 kilometers (1.99 miles) long, with a blend of high-speed straights, sweeping corners, and tight technical sections. The track features 15 turns, providing a variety of challenges for drivers. The elevation changes throughout the lap further enhance the driving experience, adding another layer of complexity. The main straight allows for high top speeds, followed by a series of braking zones that test car stability and driver skill.

Porsche Ring hosts a wide range of motorsport events, including circuit racing for cars and motorcycles, drifting competitions, and various club-level events. It is a popular venue for testing and driver training. The circuit is specifically designed to accommodate multiple track configurations, allowing for simultaneous events and different levels of difficulty. The track's design encourages close racing, and the well-maintained asphalt provides excellent grip.

What sets Porsche Ring apart is its commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for both professional racers and amateur enthusiasts. The modern facilities, including a race control tower, medical center, and ample paddock space, contribute to its appeal. The picturesque surroundings further enhance the overall experience, making Porsche Ring a unique and memorable motorsport destination in the Baltic region. Its challenging layout and commitment to safety make it a favorite among drivers and fans alike.
