La Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 est un roadster produit par le célèbre constructeur allemand de voitures de sport dans ses usines de Zuffenhausen et Osnabruck, sur une conception réalisée par le designer automobile britannique Tony Hatter en 2015. La Cayman GT4 est une Porsche 981 prête pour la piste, haute performance, optimisée pour la vitesse avec une garde au sol abaissée offrant un profil aérodynamique supérieur. Son temps au tour exceptionnel de 7:40 sur le Nürburgring Nordschleife et sa vitesse de pointe impressionnante de 183 mph (295 km/h) sont quelques-unes des statistiques qui démontrent qu’il s’agit d’une voiture de course utilisable au quotidien.
La Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 est équipée d’un moteur Flat 6 de 3,8 litres associé à une boîte manuelle 6 vitesses offrant un contrôle total de l’accélération. C’est le sprinteur le plus rapide parmi toutes les versions de la Porsche 981, ne nécessitant que 4,2 secondes pour passer de 0 à 60 mph. La voiture est montée avec des pneus 245/35R20 à l’avant et 295/30R20 à l’arrière sur des jantes forgées de 20 pouces. Le système de refroidissement du moteur comprend un radiateur supplémentaire nécessitant une prise d’air plus large sur le pare-chocs avant, ce qui confère à la voiture un look agressif. Affichée à 73 000, la Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 de 2016 est la porte d’entrée pour les passionnés de sportives à la recherche de performances élevées.
