La BMW M4 F82 est un coupé deux portes au design plus agressif que ses prédécesseurs. Elle adopte une configuration propulsion avec une boîte manuelle 6 vitesses. Elle est équipée d’un moteur essence 3.0 L 6MT biturbo à refroidissement intermédiaire, développant une puissance maximale de 431 hp à 5500 tr/min et un couple de 406 lb-pi/550 nm entre 1850 et 5500 tr/min. Ce moteur de pointe permet à la M4 F82 d’atteindre une vitesse maximale de 155 mph (249 km/h) et d’accélérer de 0 à 62 mph en 4,3 secondes.
La BMW M4 F82 n’a jamais été bon marché, avec un prix de départ avoisinant les 70 000 $. Les passionnés de sport automobile et les amateurs de voitures sportives du monde entier sont fascinés par cette avancée technologique depuis sa sortie en 2014. La M4 F82 est équipée de pneus Michelin Pilot Super Sport 255/40 ZR18 à l’avant et 275/40 ZR18 à l’arrière, d’un système de freinage à disques ventilés sur les quatre roues, ainsi que d’une suspension indépendante à ressorts à l’avant et multi-bras indépendante à l’arrière. Plusieurs éléments aérodynamiques, comme l’aileron arrière sur le coffre et les quatre sorties d’échappement, renforcent son agressivité visuelle. La fibre de carbone utilisée à la fois à l’extérieur et à l’intérieur a permis de réduire significativement le poids de la voiture, qui ne dépasse pas 3300 lbs.
