El BMW M4 F82 es un coupé de dos puertas con un diseño más agresivo que sus predecesores. Utiliza una configuración de tracción trasera con una caja de cambios manual de 6 velocidades. Está equipado con un motor de gasolina 3.0 L 6MT biturbo con intercooler, que entrega una potencia máxima de 431 hp a 5500 rpm y un par motor de 406 lb-ft/550 nm entre 1850 y 5500 rpm. Este motor de última generación permite que el M4 F82 alcance una velocidad máxima de 155 mph (249 km/h), acelerando de 0 a 62 mph en 4.3 segundos.
El BMW M4 F82 nunca fue barato, con un precio inicial cercano a los 70,000 dólares. El M4 F82 monta neumáticos Michelin Pilot Super Sport 255/40 ZR18 en el eje delantero y 275/40 ZR18 en el trasero, con un sistema de frenos de discos ventilados en las cuatro ruedas y suspensión independiente de muelles en el eje delantero y multibrazo independiente en el trasero. Varias adiciones aerodinámicas, como el alerón trasero en la tapa del maletero y las cuatro salidas de escape, aportan una mayor agresividad visual.
