Die Chevrolet Corvette C6 Grand Sport ist ein zweitüriger Pony Car, der von 2010 bis 2013 von der General Motors Company in Bowling Green, Kentucky, hergestellt wurde. Diese neue Corvette ersetzte die alte Z51-Option und verwendet einen Stahlrahmen anstelle des traditionellen Aluminiumrahmens. Das Chevrolet Corvette C6 Grand Sport-Paket fährt mit einem saugbetriebenen, handgefertigten LS3-V8-Motor mit 6,2-Liter-Hubraum, der eine maximale Leistung von 436 PS und 575 Nm Drehmoment erzeugt. Ein 6-Gang-Schaltgetriebe ist das Standard-Getriebe des Autos, das in einem Hinterradantriebslayout kommt und eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 299 km/h (186 mph) erreichen kann, mit einer Beschleunigungszeit von 0 auf 100 km/h von 4 Sekunden.
Der Grand Sport umfasst breitere Räder und Reifen als das Z51-Modell, was die Straßenlage und Manövrierfähigkeit verbessert, mit Eagle F1 275/35 R18-Reifen vorne und 325/30 R19 hinten. Sein aktueller Wert umfasst ein Preisschild von 14.000-15.000 Dollar, was für diese hervorragende Rennstreckenmaschine angemessen ist. Viele Experten betrachten es als eine stark verbesserte Version des Basis-C6, und sein niedrigerer Kraftstoffverbrauch von 12,6 l/100 km macht es zu einem besseren Alltagsfahrzeug. Es verfügt auch über ein besseres Bremssystem mit belüfteten Scheiben und bietet hervorragende Rennstrecken- und Straßenhandhabung bei hoher Geschwindigkeit.
